L\u00e0 o\u00f9 les produits togolais peinent \u00e0 convaincre les consommateurs, \u00e0 commencer par les autorit\u00e9s elles-m\u00eames, le Burkina Faso donne une le\u00e7on d&rsquo;identit\u00e9 culturelle et de patriotisme \u00e9conomique.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>La sc\u00e8ne s\u2019est jou\u00e9e en plein c\u0153ur du March\u00e9 International de l\u2019Artisanat du Togo (MIATO), sur le site de Togo 2000. Les officiels burkinab\u00e8, en t\u00eate de d\u00e9l\u00e9gation, ont marqu\u00e9 les esprits non seulement par leur pr\u00e9sence, mais surtout par leur tenue. Tous portaient fi\u00e8rement le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pagne tiss\u00e9 \u00ab Mon Faso Dan Fani \u00bb, symbole de l\u2019artisanat national burkinab\u00e8, \u00e9lev\u00e9 au rang d\u2019uniforme d\u2019\u00c9tat. \u00ab Je suis fier de porter Mon Faso Dan Fani, avec \u00e9l\u00e9gance \u00bb, a lanc\u00e9 le ministre burkinab\u00e8 de la Communication et de la Culture, d\u00e8s l\u2019entame de son discours \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture du MIATO (notre march\u00e9).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, les autorit\u00e9s togolaises arboraient, elles, des costumes import\u00e9s d\u2019Italie ou de Turquie. Une dissonance flagrante lors d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement cens\u00e9 c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le savoir-faire local. Le d\u00e9calage s\u2019est encore accentu\u00e9 lors d\u2019un panel organis\u00e9 toujours dans le cadre du MIATO : tous les repr\u00e9sentants burkinab\u00e8 portaient le pagne national, pendant que leurs homologues togolais se pr\u00e9sentaient en tenues occidentales, sans aucune note locale visible.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019un des intervenants burkinab\u00e8 n\u2019a pas manqu\u00e9 de faire un rappel qui a tout son sens. Selon lui, au Burkina Faso, il est impossible pour un ministre d\u2019assister \u00e0 un conseil des ministres sans \u00eatre habill\u00e9 en tenue traditionnelle. \u00ab Quand vous \u00eates une autorit\u00e9 et que vous portez une marque locale, le peuple qui vous regarde est fier de vous et veut vous ressembler \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9, insistant sur le fait que la r\u00e9ussite des produits locaux d\u00e9pend d\u2019une implication collective, \u00e0 commencer par l\u2019exemplarit\u00e9 des dirigeants.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-16120\" src=\"https:\/\/228news.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG-20250429-WA0230-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/228news.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG-20250429-WA0230-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/228news.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG-20250429-WA0230-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/228news.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG-20250429-WA0230-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/228news.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG-20250429-WA0230.jpg 1040w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cette claque symbolique a-t-elle fait r\u00e9agir les autorit\u00e9s togolaises ?<\/p>\n<p>En tout cas, le Burkina Faso a donn\u00e9 une le\u00e7on de fiert\u00e9 culturelle au Togo et qui a fait r\u00e9agir le sommet de l\u2019Etat \u00e0 travers le minist\u00e8re en charge du commerce, de l\u2019artisanat et de la consommation locale.<\/p>\n<p>Quelques jours apr\u00e8s ces faits, le ministre togolais du Commerce, de l\u2019Artisanat et de la Consommation locale, Rose Kayi-Mivedor, a publi\u00e9 un communiqu\u00e9 pour rappeler aux ministres, directeurs et chefs de service l\u2019existence de la lettre circulaire N\u00b0002\/20\/PM\/CAB du 07 octobre 2020. Celle-ci recommandait d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u2019usage prioritaire des produits locaux lors des c\u00e9l\u00e9brations officielles ou pauses-caf\u00e9 dans l\u2019administration. Une directive rest\u00e9e ignor\u00e9e jusqu\u2019ici.<\/p>\n<p>Le Togo dispose pourtant d\u2019un riche patrimoine textile et artisanal. Mais tant que ses dirigeants n\u2019en feront pas une fiert\u00e9 visible, il sera difficile d\u2019esp\u00e9rer une adh\u00e9sion populaire.
